The hotel had a fantastic location, right at the entrance of the famous Pennine Way trail. the breathtaking wilderness and walking potential in the surrounding area were a huge plus. the staff at the bar were very friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience.
To our stay. there seemed to be some miscommunication regarding bringing our own linen.

Lovely location at the beginning of the Pennine Way, perfect for hill walking. The cottage's kitchen is well-equipped and fluffy towels are provided. The pub has a fantastic view of the flowing river and offers great food. Despite a few minor issues, I would recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at the Old Nag's Head in Edale. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding hills. The pub downstairs was a great place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. The atmosphere was lively and the food was top-notch. The views of the hills from the location were stunning and added to the overall relaxing ambiance of the stay. The accommodation itself had everything I needed, and although it was compact, it was comfortable and provided all the necessary amenities. I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing break.

The location was ideal for exploring the beautiful surroundings and going on scenic walks. The cottage itself was cozy and warm, providing a comfortable home away from home. The food at the nearby pubs was delicious, ensuring that I never went hungry. Despite being located above the pub kitchen, noise from the guests was minimal and didn't disturb my stay.

We recently stayed at The Old Nag's Head for a couple of nights and had a truly wonderful experience. The location, right at the start of the Pennine Way, provided us with endless opportunities for breathtaking walks in the beautiful Peak District wilderness. The friendly bar staff made us feel right at home, and the cosy cottage we stayed in had stunning views. The check-in process was easy, and we were even personally escorted to our cottage by a pleasant staff member. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, including tea, coffee, and even a welcome folder filled with useful information. And the bonus of having an amazing pub next door serving delicious food made our stay even better. We would definitely return to The Old Nag's Head in the future.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We had a fantastic Easter getaway at this cozy accommodation! the inclusion of towels and bedding in the price was a great convenience. Plus, the staff at the pub were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. the location was absolutely beautiful, providing us with easy access to amazing walking trails and stunning scenery. It was the perfect base for our outdoor adventures.
Although we had a great time, there were a couple of downsides to the accommodation. the rooms were a bit small and cramped, especially if you were expecting to comfortably accommodate five people.
